How It Works
Commissioning a painting is a rewarding and creative journey. Here’s an overview of the process:
1. Initial Consultation: We’ll begin with a discussion about your vision. I’ll ask key questions to understand your preferences, including:

What is your budget? The cost of a commissioned painting varies based on size, complexity, and medium. Please see original art pricing which is similar to pricing for commissions.
2. Agreement & Deposit: To move forward, we’ll establish a commission agreement, and a 50% non-refundable deposit will secure your project in my schedule.
3. Design & Sketching: Once we’ve discussed your vision, I’ll create a few preliminary sketches or color studies to outline the composition. You’ll have the opportunity to review these and provide feedback before I begin the final piece.
4. Painting Process: With high-quality materials, I will carefully craft your painting, layering expressive brushstrokes and textures to bring your vision to life.
5. Final Review & Delivery: Upon completion and the remaining balance is received, your painting will be professionally prepared for pickup or shipping. Additional fees may apply for delivery and framing.
